Frequently Asked Questions

Clear answers about buying, using exams, your account, and payments.

Buying and trial

Are these official tests?

No. These are independent practice exams for study only. They are not official certification tests, and we are not affiliated with the exam providers.

A passing score on testimea does not mean you are certified. Use Exam mode under timed conditions, Practice mode to study with instant feedback, and review explanations before you sit the real exam.

For a short overview of how the vendor sitting is typically delivered (test center vs online, proctoring), see What the real certification sitting is like.

What is the trial?

The trial is a one-time payment for one timed Exam attempt at the full question count. After you submit, you see your percentage, whether you passed, and a domain breakdown. Explanations, correct answers, Practice mode, and extra attempts stay locked until you upgrade to full access.

The amount you paid is deducted once from full access to the same exam. If you leave or end the attempt before you submit, the trial is not used and the next start begins from the beginning. Nothing renews, and the timer starts only when you begin — not at checkout.

Compare trial vs full access for a side-by-side feature list.

Does the trial payment count toward full access?

Yes. The amount you actually paid for the trial is deducted once from full access to the same exam. You do not need a coupon — when you are logged into the account that bought the trial, checkout shows the remaining amount automatically.

The credit applies only to that exam, only once, and only on that account. It cannot be moved to a different exam or shared. If you want to try another certification, buy a separate trial. If the trial was refunded, no credit is available.

How do I upgrade after the trial?

Log in with the same email you used for the trial, open the exam (or My Account → Exams), and choose Upgrade to full access. Checkout deducts the trial payment and you pay only the difference.

After the upgrade you get unlimited attempts, Practice mode, explanations, and the rest of the study tools.

What is the difference between the free sample and the trial?

The free sample is a timed 5-question exam from a certification you choose. It lasts 5 minutes, the pass grade is 70, and there is no practice mode. Explanations are shown after you submit. The result is not kept.

The trial is one paid full-length timed attempt. You get a score and a domain breakdown, and no explanations. The amount paid is deducted if you later buy full access to that same exam.

What do I get after I buy an exam?

You get lasting access to that practice exam on your account. After checkout you can start Exam or Practice attempts, submit, and review every past result from My Account → Exams.

The purchase is a one-time payment for that exam, not a subscription. Nothing starts at checkout — you choose the mode when you are ready. If you leave before you submit, that attempt is discarded and the next start begins from the beginning.

Using the exam

What is the difference between Exam mode and Practice mode?

Exam mode is a timed simulation. The clock starts when you begin, explanations stay hidden until you submit, and time running out submits the answers you have given.

Practice mode has no time limit. You can check each answer as you go and read the explanation immediately. After results, you can retry incorrect questions or practice weak domains.

In both modes, answers are saved while you stay in the attempt. If you leave or end it before you submit, the next start begins from the beginning.

When does the timer start?

Only in Exam mode, and only when you click to begin that attempt — not when you pay. You can buy the exam, come back later, and start when you are ready to focus.

Practice mode has no countdown.

Can I retake an exam?

Yes, with full access. You can start a new Exam or Practice attempt whenever you want. Each finished attempt keeps a result you can review.

The trial includes only one timed Exam attempt, so you cannot retake after you submit it. Upgrade to full access for unlimited attempts. If you leave or end an attempt before you submit, it is discarded. The next start begins from the beginning.

Are the questions the same every time?

Not usually. Each attempt draws questions from a larger bank, so the mix can change from one run to the next.

When you are logged in, you can choose a question set before you start: a final simulation that follows domain weights, or unseen questions first. From the results page you can also practice incorrect questions, weak domains, or one topic. The number of questions per attempt, the bank size, and the Exam time limit are shown on the product page before you buy.

What is the pass grade?

The pass grade is listed on the product and exam pages. It is often 70%, but it can differ by exam, so always check the exam you are buying.

After you submit, you see your percentage, whether you passed, and a domain breakdown. Explanations and per-question review are included with full access. On a trial result those stay hidden.

How do I report a problem with a question?

Each question has a Report a problem link during the attempt and again on the results page. Choose a reason (for example unclear wording, a wrong answer, or a typo) and add a comment if you want to explain. In Exam mode the timer does not pause while you send the report.

Flag for review is different: it only bookmarks the question so you can return to it. For orders or account access, use the contact form instead.

Account and access

I already paid but I cannot access the exam. What should I do?

Log in with the same email you used at checkout, then go to My Account → Exams. Access is tied to that account, so a different email will not show the purchase.

If the exam still does not appear, contact us with the email from the order and we will help you restore access.

Do I need an account?

Yes for paid exams. Create an account at checkout (or log in) so the purchase stays linked to your profile.

With the same email you can return later, open My Account → Exams, and start a new Exam or Practice attempt or check results without buying again. Question-set choices and focused retries are available when you are logged in.

I forgot my password or used a different email

Access stays on the email used at checkout. If you forgot your password, use Lost password on the login page. We send a reset link to that email.

If you are logged in with a different email than the one that paid, log out and sign in with the checkout email. If you no longer have that inbox, contact us with the email from the order so we can restore access.

How long does access last?

Full access to a purchased exam stays on your account with no expiry date and no subscription. You can return later to start new attempts or review results.

Access lasts as long as your account and the service are available. It is tied to the checkout email and cannot be transferred. The trial is different: it is one attempt, not lasting access to study tools.

Payments and refunds

Which payment methods do you accept?

Payment options are shown at checkout. Card payment is typically available, depending on the methods enabled in the shop.

If a method you need is missing, contact us before you complete the order.

Can I get a refund?

EEA and UK consumers usually have 14 days to withdraw, unless you asked us to start the exam immediately and acknowledged that the cooling-off right would end.

If you cannot access the exam because of a problem on our side, or you were charged in error, we will put it right — that is separate from the 14-day right.

Use the Withdraw from contract form or contact us from the email used at checkout. Full details are in the Refund Policy.
